MY STORY
José Manuel García Izquierdo, founder of Armatis, was born in Plasencia (Cáceres) on November 1st on November 1970. He studied Law at the Faculty of Complutense University in Madrid and later completed the General Training Course for Lawyers at the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica de la UCM. He began his professional career as a lawyer collaborator in a law firm in the capital and later as head of the legal department in an investment company in tangible assets.. Later on, he moved to Castellón, where he specialized in legal advice related to New Technologies.
José Manuel studied Information Security, Data Protection, Electronic Signature, Intellectual and Industrial Property in ICT, as he is passionate about the challenge that transferring legal relationships to the digital environment poses for a lawyer. Currently, he holds the position of External Data Protection Delegate in various companies and provides external legal advisory services to Startups and SMEs. He has always been interested in contributing his bit so that current entrepreneurs and business owners immerse themselves in the new scenarios that are emerging as a result of the growing technological evolution with the utmost security.

Thanks to his legal education and specialization in digital-related legal advice, José Manuel has acquired a set of skills that have allowed him to adapt to the constant changes in the business world.
